1. Services Offered
FixItOttawa provides professional handyman services, including but not limited to:
- Flooring installation (vinyl, laminate, hardwood)
- Ceramic tile installation
- Backsplash and shower wall installation
- Bathtub caulking
- Faucet and sink installations
- Cabinet installation
- Light fixture replacement
- Door installations
- Shelving installation
- Drywall repairs and installation
- Popcorn ceiling removal
- Painting
- Trim installation
- Plumbing work
- Washer and dryer hookup
- Dishwasher hookup
2. Service Requests and Estimates
Clients may request services through our website, phone, or email. Upon request, we may provide an estimate based on the information provided. Final pricing is subject to change upon on-site assessment.
3. Booking and Cancellations
Appointments are scheduled based on availability. Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and e-transfers.
5. Liability
FixItOttawa is insured and strives to provide high-quality services. However, we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing conditions or damages
- Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances
- Client-provided materials or instructions
6. Warranties
We offer a 30-day workmanship warranty on our services. This does not cover damages due to misuse, neglect, or external factors beyond our control.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
8. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date.
